Washing and Wrapping Up in DC

We returned from Das Ethiopian and ran to the local laundromat, and made it in under the wire. Many quarters later we should have clean clothes and clammy kids! After 9 pm there is no entry, which means if you go out for fresh air you stay out. The air inside is somewhere on Dante’s descent. Spirits remain high amongst these extraordinary kids, who walked over 10 miles in the heat today, and are still chatty and giggly 14 hours later in the ‘Mat.

Lincoln

After a walk and scooter ride along the reflecting pond, we are greeted by the majestic Lincoln Memorial. The kids seemed suitably impressed by the marriage of grandiosity and kindness, which radiates out.
