Coming home!
Efficient airport, sleep deficient kiddos. See everyone tonight!
Central Park
Time to decompress…aka why people from NYC love to visit the San Juans
Manhattan consists of much more than its residential population and daily workforce. This island, measuring just 22.96 square miles, serves
approximately 4 million people on a typical weekday, 2.9 million on a weekend day, and a weekday night population of 2.05 million.
When you back out tourists, that’s around 1.6 million people, or 78,000 people per square mile.
For reference, Lopez is 29 square miles. So around 69 people per square mile.
Our walkabout around Central Park this morning was a lovely example of an open, restorative space in the middle of that density.
